Sign in

The Bali demo opens on a sign-in screen: the AirDesk Forecast brand on the left, and on the right a panel with the demo’s name and two fields, Username and Password, and the Sign In button. The account is given to you by whoever runs the demo; one account can open several demos, and which ones is set by an administrator.

What happens on entry

Once the credentials are accepted the form fades and the loading panel takes its place. On the left, what is being loaded — Domain, Point series, Monitoring, Peak impact, 3D terrain, Dashboard, Map, Map imagery — each with its progress (37 / 72 files, 53 / 53 stations, Ready). On the right, a note and a running list of what is arriving right now (Monitoring records · Pudahuel, Alert events · base · 26/08).

The first visit to a demo on a browser is slow — it downloads the demo’s data, which can take a few minutes, and the note says so. Later visits open in seconds, from that browser’s cache; the note says that too. Everything the dashboard and the map read is loaded here, so no section opens onto data still arriving. When it finishes, the application opens the map.

The session lasts 90 days in that browser. Log out is in the top-bar menu; returning to /login with a session open goes straight back to the map.

Language and theme

The sign-in screen has no language or theme control: it uses the language saved from an earlier visit or, failing that, the demo’s default, and follows the system’s light or dark theme. Both are changed inside the application, from the top-bar menu — Light mode / Dark mode, and Settings, whose Language row offers English and Español — and apply live, with no reload.

The chosen language governs the whole application and these guides too: the Guides button always opens the page in the application’s language, not the browser’s.

If it does not let you in

Incorrect username or password is what it says when the credentials do not match. A different message after they are accepted means the demo could not be opened — usually a server problem, not an account one.
